Made in Germany, it boasts Uvex's hardshell technology. The fully bonded combination of tough ABS plastic hardshell and EPS inner shell results in an extremely impact resistant helmet with effective shock absorption and comfortable temperature regulation, plus an array of vents for airflow.
This Exxeed Helmet incorporates
MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System), which is designed to add protection against rotational motion (or kinematics) transmitted to the brain from angled impacts to the head. MIPS’ added protection system has been proven to reduce rotational motion when implemented in a helmet by redirecting energies and forces otherwise transmitted to the brain.
To the back of the Exxeed Helmet is a 3D IAS system. This feature, with its easy-to-use dial, allows you to easily adjust the width and the height of the fastening to suit a range of head shapes. The dial is ergonomically designed to allow for precise adjustment, meaning you can use it without the need to take your gloves off.
Another stand-out feature of this Uvex Helmet is the monomatic fastening on the faux harness. The anatomically shaped sliding tab fastener is button operated, so can be easily secured with one hand. It also enables you to achieve the perfect fit.
