The Cavallo Simple Hoof Boots are an economical alternative to metal shoes. They are simple to size and simple to fit, shaped to fit the natural hoof and promote healthy hooves while allowing for expansion and contraction of the hoof.
They provide protection and comfort for horses with chronic hoof pain or sensitivity, and are ideal for barefoot horses when the ground gets too hard or rough. They are also great for rehabilitation from injuries, abscesses, navicular diseases, laminitis, punctures, sole bruising and contracted heels.
Lightweight and secure, they are engineered with a genuine leather upper which is flexible yet durable. They fasten with industrial grade Velcro closures and are equipped with a molded-in back flap for protection and abrasion resistance.
Finished with a softee leather foam-filled collar to reduce the risk of rubbing and chafing, the Cavallo Simple Boots also boast a unique outsole with a tread pattern that supports the hoof wall. This all terrain tread reduces the build up of mud and dirt and provides excellent traction while still allowing natural movement.
The center of the outsole is recessed to minimize pressure, and is made of high-performance, specially-formulated TPU which offers maximum protection, shock absorption, durability and abrasion resistance.
