Kentucky created their own in-house testing machine which creates a force of 80N. This involved a razor-sharp axe being 'dropped' onto a replica horizontal horse leg. Kentucky's Bamboo Shield Boots withstood this testing, with the replica leg showing no cut or penetration through the boot, meaning they will protect your horse's legs from any impact caused when jumping, schooling or hacking. The boots are also Rico test approved and RCT certified.

As well as offering incredible protection, these Kentucky Boots have also been anatomically shaped to ensure maximum comfort throughout wear and to allow optimum freedom of movement. There is a soft natural rubber piece to avoid any friction and the inside part of the boots is reinforced with an extra layer of TPU to sustain high abrasion.

The Bamboo Shield Boots are lined with highly breathable 3D Spacer material and equipped with carefully placed vents which increase airflow and ventilation.
