How to return an item

If something isn’t quite right, you can return your items within 28 days of receiving your order.

Accepted Returns

  • Returned goods must be in the same condition in which they were received, including all original packaging, which must be intact and suitable for resale.
  • All original tags must be attached
  • Return must be made within 28 days of receipt

Packaging Your Return

Items should be securely packaged for return. Please do not apply tape, labels, or glue directly to the product or its original packaging (such as boot boxes or rug bags), as this can cause damage and may affect your refund. Items MUST be in new condition, clean and dry.

We do not offer a free returns service. The cost of returning a parcel to our UK warehouse must be covered by you.

How to Return your Items

  • Fill out the returns form included in your delivery
  • Find a carrier of your choice to return the parcel. The cost of return shipping is paid by you.
  • Use the original carrier where possible - If you can, return the item using the same courier (e.g. DHL, FedEx, UPS) that delivered it, as they can match it to the original import paperwork.
  • Complete customs forms correctly - On the CN22/CN23 or commercial invoice, clearly state: “UK GOODS RETURNING: DEFECTIVE / UNWANTED”
  • Declare the correct value - Use the original purchase value, and clearly indicate that the item is a return of merchandise
  • Include original tracking details - If possible, add the original import tracking or waybill number to help confirm the item was previously imported.
  • Keep proof of postage - Always retain your receipt and tracking number as proof of return in case of delay or loss.

The Bucas Anniversary 150g Turnout Blanket is a great choice for your horse to wear outdoors when rain is forecast and the weather is a little cooler. Waterproof and breathable, this Bucas blanket is engineered with a ripstop 600 denier outer. Ripstop is the pattern of the weave that makes the material less prone to tearing. This weave helps prevent any rips that do occur from spreading through the material.

Inside the Anniversary Turnout is a Stay-Dry lining, which is a fabric that wicks away moisture from your horses skin to leave them feeling fresh and comfortable throughout wear. Comfort is also ensured thanks to the carefully placed shoulder darts. These help to give your horse a more tailored fit across the chest and shoulder area, and are a signature design feature from Bucas.

To the front of this Turnout Blanket is a snap-lock magnetic closure combined with a T-bar front fastening to help keep your Bucas blanket secure on your horse. It eliminates the use of Velcro closures on the chest making it a more durable and stable.

The Bucas Anniversary Turnout Blankets can either be used alone or as part of Bucas' Layering System, which allows you to use Bucas Quilts, Coolers or Liner Blankets underneath to easily increase the blanket's warmth and insulation.

Fitting Guide

  1. To find out your horse's rug size measure from the centre of the chest to the rear of the hind leg.
  2. Once you have the measurement refer to the rug sizing guide above (for guide purposes only)
  3. When you receive the rug please ensure you try the rug on over a clean sheet. This keeps the rug clean and hair free allowing for its return if the size is incorrect.
  4. Check that the rug fits correctly - Correctly fitted horse rugs should not be too tight across the shoulder & should reach the base of the horses tail (excluding tail flap)
  5. The rug must fit correctly before leaving the horse unattended. A rug that is too tight may rub and pull across the shoulder. Too big and it may slip and be trodden on.
  6. Please Note: Except in the case of faulty goods we are unable to except returned rugs unless they are clean, hair-free, include all tags and are suitable for re-sale.

 

Professional Opinion
I love the design of the Bucas blankets. The Stay-dry material, which wicks away moisture, is fab as it means the horses dry quickly, keeping them warm in winter but cool in summer. They also fit the horses really well, never slipping, with an overlap at the front to protect the chest from being rubbed. The detachable surcingles make the blankets easy to use and wash. We particularly like the Power Cooler range as they can be layered which makes keeping the horses comfortable at competitions a lot easier - Ruth Asquith, Nicola Wilson’s traveling groom
