How to return an item

If something isn’t quite right, you can return your items within 28 days of receiving your order.

Accepted Returns

  • Returned goods must be in the same condition in which they were received, including all original packaging, which must be intact and suitable for resale.
  • All original tags must be attached
  • Return must be made within 28 days of receipt

Packaging Your Return

Items should be securely packaged for return. Please do not apply tape, labels, or glue directly to the product or its original packaging (such as boot boxes or rug bags), as this can cause damage and may affect your refund. Items MUST be in new condition, clean and dry.

We do not offer a free returns service. The cost of returning a parcel to our UK warehouse must be covered by you.

How to Return your Items

  • Fill out the returns form included in your delivery
  • Find a carrier of your choice to return the parcel. The cost of return shipping is paid by you.
  • Use the original carrier where possible - If you can, return the item using the same courier (e.g. DHL, FedEx, UPS) that delivered it, as they can match it to the original import paperwork.
  • Complete customs forms correctly - On the CN22/CN23 or commercial invoice, clearly state: “UK GOODS RETURNING: DEFECTIVE / UNWANTED”
  • Declare the correct value - Use the original purchase value, and clearly indicate that the item is a return of merchandise
  • Include original tracking details - If possible, add the original import tracking or waybill number to help confirm the item was previously imported.
  • Keep proof of postage - Always retain your receipt and tracking number as proof of return in case of delay or loss.

Bucas Irish 50g Detachable Neck Turnout Blanket - Black/Gold

The Bucas Irish 50g Turnout Blanket is a great design that comes complete with a detachable neck cover. It is engineered with a 1200 denier rip-stop outer with a waterproof and breathable coating to provide optimum protection against the outdoor elements. This outer material is a ripstop fabric, which means the pattern of the weave makes the material less prone to tearing. This weave also helps prevent any rips that do occur from spreading through the material.

At the shoulders are carefully placed darts, which give this Bucas Blanket a more tailored fit across the chest and shoulder area. To the front of the blanket is a Snap-lock magnetic closure that helps keep your Bucas blanket secure on your horse. It eliminates the use of Hook & Loop closures on the chest making it more comfortable and reliable.

The Bucas Irish Turnout Blankets can either be used alone or as part of Bucas' Layering System, which allows you to use Bucas Quilts, Coolers or Liner Blankets underneath to easily increase the blankets warmth and insulation.

Fitting Guide

  1. To find out your horse's rug size measure from the centre of the chest to the rear of the hind leg.
  2. Once you have the measurement refer to the rug sizing guide above (for guide purposes only)
  3. When you receive the rug please ensure you try the rug on over a clean sheet. This keeps the rug clean and hair free allowing for its return if the size is incorrect.
  4. Check that the rug fits correctly - Correctly fitted horse rugs should not be too tight across the shoulder & should reach the base of the horses tail (excluding tail flap)
  5. The rug must fit correctly before leaving the horse unattended. A rug that is too tight may rub and pull across the shoulder. Too big and it may slip and be trodden on.
  6. Please Note: Except in the case of faulty goods we are unable to except returned rugs unless they are clean, hair-free, include all tags and are suitable for re-sale.
