How to return an item

If something isn’t quite right, you can return your items within 28 days of receiving your order.

Accepted Returns

  • Returned goods must be in the same condition in which they were received, including all original packaging, which must be intact and suitable for resale.
  • All original tags must be attached
  • Return must be made within 28 days of receipt

Packaging Your Return

Items should be securely packaged for return. Please do not apply tape, labels, or glue directly to the product or its original packaging (such as boot boxes or rug bags), as this can cause damage and may affect your refund. Items MUST be in new condition, clean and dry.

We do not offer a free returns service. The cost of returning a parcel to our UK warehouse must be covered by you.

How to Return your Items

  • Fill out the returns form included in your delivery
  • Find a carrier of your choice to return the parcel. The cost of return shipping is paid by you.
  • Use the original carrier where possible - If you can, return the item using the same courier (e.g. DHL, FedEx, UPS) that delivered it, as they can match it to the original import paperwork.
  • Complete customs forms correctly - On the CN22/CN23 or commercial invoice, clearly state: “UK GOODS RETURNING: DEFECTIVE / UNWANTED”
  • Declare the correct value - Use the original purchase value, and clearly indicate that the item is a return of merchandise
  • Include original tracking details - If possible, add the original import tracking or waybill number to help confirm the item was previously imported.
  • Keep proof of postage - Always retain your receipt and tracking number as proof of return in case of delay or loss.

The Rhino HexStop Plus 100g Vari-Layer Turnout Blanket is the ultimate choice for those blanket-wrecking horses! It is engineered with a hexagonal ripstop weave outer fabric that is durable, robust and 30% stronger than standard polypropylene.

Providing protection from the elements, this blanket boasts Barrier Technology with an Aquatrans Coating. This is an additional inner waterproof layer that means the blanket provides protection from the elements. Along with this waterproof layer, this Rhino Blanket is also equipped with Vari-Layer Technology; this is layered thermobonded fiberfill which delivers increased warmth with reduced weight, making the blanket ideal for turnout in cold, wet climates.

The blanket is also compatible with the Horseware Liner System if additional warmth is required.

A generously sized tail flap, plus a detachable neck cover (included) make the HexStop an extremely versatile design. Further technical features include a V-Front Closure and Surefit Neck Design which removes pressure and prevents rubbing of the shoulders. It also enables your horse to graze comfortably.

Finished with three cross surcingles for a secure fit, reflective strips and a tail strap, this Rhino Plus Blanket would be a fantastic upgrade to your horse's blanket wardrobe.

Some more information on Horseware's Vari-Layer Technology...

In a standard blanket, 80% of heat loss is concentrated in 40% of the surface area. With this knowledge in mind, Horseware® Ireland has introduced Vari-Layer Technology into the Horseware blanket line. Vari-Layer increases fiber coverage across the horse's back and hips to decrease heat loss. The layering of fiber allows the blanket to wrap closely around the horse, trapping heat with less weight in the overall horse blanket. The effect of gravity compression on the blanket fill is lessened, and the blanket stays fuller for longer.

Measure Your Rug

Fitting Guide

  1. To find out your horse's rug size measure from the center of the chest to the rear of the hind leg (A to B).
  2. Once you have the measurement refer to the rug sizing guide above (for guide purposes only)
  3. When you receive the rug please ensure you try the rug on over a clean sheet. This keeps the rug clean and hair free allowing for its return if the size is incorrect.
  4. Check that the rug fits correctly - Correctly fitted horse rugs should not be too tight across the shoulder & should reach the base of the horses tail (excluding tail flap)
  5. The rug must fit correctly before leaving the horse unattended. A rug that is too tight may rub and pull across the shoulder. Too big and it may slip and be trodden on.
  6. Please Note: Except in the case of faulty goods we are unable to except returned rugs unless they are clean, hair-free, include all tags and are suitable for re-sale.
