How to return an item

If something isn’t quite right, you can return your items within 28 days of receiving your order.

Accepted Returns

  • Returned goods must be in the same condition in which they were received, including all original packaging, which must be intact and suitable for resale.
  • All original tags must be attached
  • Return must be made within 28 days of receipt

Packaging Your Return

Items should be securely packaged for return. Please do not apply tape, labels, or glue directly to the product or its original packaging (such as boot boxes or rug bags), as this can cause damage and may affect your refund. Items MUST be in new condition, clean and dry.

We do not offer a free returns service. The cost of returning a parcel to our UK warehouse must be covered by you.

How to Return your Items

  • Fill out the returns form included in your delivery
  • Find a carrier of your choice to return the parcel. The cost of return shipping is paid by you.
  • Use the original carrier where possible - If you can, return the item using the same courier (e.g. DHL, FedEx, UPS) that delivered it, as they can match it to the original import paperwork.
  • Complete customs forms correctly - On the CN22/CN23 or commercial invoice, clearly state: “UK GOODS RETURNING: DEFECTIVE / UNWANTED”
  • Declare the correct value - Use the original purchase value, and clearly indicate that the item is a return of merchandise
  • Include original tracking details - If possible, add the original import tracking or waybill number to help confirm the item was previously imported.
  • Keep proof of postage - Always retain your receipt and tracking number as proof of return in case of delay or loss.

The Shires Tempest Original 200 Combo Neck Turnout Blanket is a great value choice for outdoor use which benefits from adjustable clip chest straps and adjustable cross surcingles, fillet strap and tail flap.

Manufactured using innovative ShireTex advanced breathable fabrics, this Shires Turnout boasts a 600D outer. Tough and durable, these fabrics are coated with a specially formulated hydrophilic coating which is designed to attract excess sweat and moisture. The difference in air temperature between the inside and the outside of the blanket then draws this sweat/moisture to the outside of the blanket where it dissipates into the atmosphere, ensuring optimum comfort for your horse throughout wear.

Designed without a central back seam to keep the blanket waterproof as possible, the Tempest Original Turnout Blanket is also 'WarmaRug' compatible, which allows you add a liner to increase the warmth of the blanket. You can view the Shires WarmaRug Liner HERE.

Measure Your Blanket
Fitting Guide

  1. Measure from the centre of your horse's chest to the buttocks where you would expect the blanket to finish.
  2. Once you have the measurement refer to the blanket sizing guide above (for guide purposes only)
  3. When you receive the blanket please ensure you try the blanket on over a clean sheet. This keeps the blanket clean and hair free allowing for its return if the size is incorrect.
  4. Check that the blanket fits correctly - Correctly fitted horse blankets should not be too tight across the shoulder & should reach the base of the horses tail (excluding tail flap)
  5. The blanket must fit correctly before leaving the horse unattended. A blanket that is too tight may rub and pull across the shoulder. Too big and it may slip and be trodden on.
  6. Please Note: Except in the case of faulty goods we are unable to except returned blankets unless they are clean, hair-free, include all tags and are suitable for re-sale.
