Our Returns Policy

How to return an item

If something isn’t quite right, you can return your items within 28 days of receiving your order.

Accepted Returns

  • Returned goods must be in the same condition in which they were received, including all original packaging, which must be intact and suitable for resale.
  • All original tags must be attached
  • Return must be made within 28 days of receipt

Packaging Your Return

Items should be securely packaged for return. Please do not apply tape, labels, or glue directly to the product or its original packaging (such as boot boxes or rug bags), as this can cause damage and may affect your refund. Items MUST be in new condition, clean and dry.

We do not offer a free returns service. The cost of returning a parcel to our UK warehouse must be covered by you.

How to Return your Items

  • Fill out the returns form included in your delivery
  • Find a carrier of your choice to return the parcel. The cost of return shipping is paid by you.
  • Use the original carrier where possible - If you can, return the item using the same courier (e.g. DHL, FedEx, UPS) that delivered it, as they can match it to the original import paperwork.
  • Complete customs forms correctly - On the CN22/CN23 or commercial invoice, clearly state: “UK GOODS RETURNING: DEFECTIVE / UNWANTED”
  • Declare the correct value - Use the original purchase value, and clearly indicate that the item is a return of merchandise
  • Include original tracking details - If possible, add the original import tracking or waybill number to help confirm the item was previously imported.
  • Keep proof of postage - Always retain your receipt and tracking number as proof of return in case of delay or loss.

The Shires Anti-Rub Stretch Vest is a simple and easy to use vest made with a stretch fabric. It has been designed to easily go over your horse’s head and secured using a single elastic surcingle which fastens around the girth area.

The Anti-Rub Stretch Vest has been designed to help prevent rubbing and to stop bald patches or sores developing on your horse. It reduces friction around the shoulder areas.

Provides a secure and comfortable fit for your horse giving a second skin feeling for you horse.

Made with a soft, multi-way stretch fabric it increases the stability to blankets.

Measure Your Rug
Fitting Guide

  1. Measure from the centre of your horse's chest to the buttocks where you would expect the rug to finish.
  2. Once you have the measurement refer to the rug sizing guide above (for guide purposes only)
  3. When you receive the rug please ensure you try the rug on over a clean sheet. This keeps the rug clean and hair free allowing for its return if the size is incorrect.
  4. Check that the rug fits correctly - Correctly fitted horse rugs should not be too tight across the shoulder & should reach the base of the horses tail (excluding tail flap)
  5. The rug must fit correctly before leaving the horse unattended. A rug that is too tight may rub and pull across the shoulder. Too big and it may slip and be trodden on.
  6. Please Note: Except in the case of faulty goods we are unable to except returned rugs unless they are clean, hair-free, include all tags and are suitable for re-sale.
