An internal stainless steel chain is encased in a bespoke, non-toxic, UV-resistant PVC tube, creating even, cushioned pressure over the tongue and bars. This makes it particularly suitable for horses that dislike traditional metal bits.

When the rein is applied, the bit lifts and rotates gently in the mouth, applying controlled tongue and bar pressure while encouraging the horse to raise its head. It is especially useful for strong horses that tend to lower their heads to evade the bit.
