This mouthpiece is non-collapsing, great for the young-minded horse who needs a stronger signal at times. The cleverly designed port allows some tongue room, but will rotate onto the tongue when a contact is applied if the rider needs a stronger signal.
The MB 06 mouthpiece does not collapse in the horse's mouth, meaning the port does not reduce in width, but it rotates onto the tongue slightly quicker than the lower level mouthpieces.
Myler Eggbutt Cheek Rings with Hooks have been cleverly designed to allow the rider more precision in their aids. The top “hook” stands the bit up in the mouth, rotating it up off the tongue when the rider relaxes the contact, offering the horse a clearer reward.
The rein hooks optimize the Independent Side Movement and provide leverage, so that the rider can rotate the mouthpiece downwards with less backward pressure. There is also the option to use a curb strap, which helps to balance the bit and allows the rider to control the downward rotation of the mouthpiece.
