Our Returns Policy

How to return an item

If something isn’t quite right, you can return your items within 28 days of receiving your order.

Accepted Returns

  • Returned goods must be in the same condition in which they were received, including all original packaging, which must be intact and suitable for resale.
  • All original tags must be attached
  • Return must be made within 28 days of receipt

Packaging Your Return

Items should be securely packaged for return. Please do not apply tape, labels, or glue directly to the product or its original packaging (such as boot boxes or rug bags), as this can cause damage and may affect your refund. Items MUST be in new condition, clean and dry.

We do not offer a free returns service. The cost of returning a parcel to our UK warehouse must be covered by you.

How to Return your Items

  • Fill out the returns form included in your delivery
  • Find a carrier of your choice to return the parcel. The cost of return shipping is paid by you.
  • Use the original carrier where possible - If you can, return the item using the same courier (e.g. DHL, FedEx, UPS) that delivered it, as they can match it to the original import paperwork.
  • Complete customs forms correctly - On the CN22/CN23 or commercial invoice, clearly state: “UK GOODS RETURNING: DEFECTIVE / UNWANTED”
  • Declare the correct value - Use the original purchase value, and clearly indicate that the item is a return of merchandise
  • Include original tracking details - If possible, add the original import tracking or waybill number to help confirm the item was previously imported.
  • Keep proof of postage - Always retain your receipt and tracking number as proof of return in case of delay or loss.

The Poponcini Harmony PHL Pelham Bit is designed with the needs of sensitive or bit-resistant horses in mind. Featuring an innovative Harmony mouthpiece, this bit is crafted from a flexible steel cable coated in soft, non-toxic, and hypoallergenic silicone. This offers a gentle yet reliable feel that encourages acceptance and soft contact.

This unique design helps reduce resistance, as the bit’s smooth, flexible mouthpiece gives the horse little to object to—ideal for those who struggle with conventional metal bits.

Built-in integrated bit guards prevent this Poponcini bit from sliding through the mouth and help protect against pinching, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit. The metal sides of the bit run through brass bushings in the mouthpiece to reduce friction.

All Poponcini Harmony bits use the same soft, non-toxic silicone resin for the mouthpiece, for consistent comfort across the range. What changes is the composition of the internal steel wire, which determines the flexibility of each model.

The range starts with Harmony A, the most flexible and gentle option, and progresses through Harmony 1, Harmony 2, up to Harmony 3, the most structured and rigid version. These options allow you to choose the perfect level of support and feel for your horse’s needs.
