How to return an item

If something isn’t quite right, you can return your items within 28 days of receiving your order.

Accepted Returns

  • Returned goods must be in the same condition in which they were received, including all original packaging, which must be intact and suitable for resale.
  • All original tags must be attached
  • Return must be made within 28 days of receipt

Packaging Your Return

Items should be securely packaged for return. Please do not apply tape, labels, or glue directly to the product or its original packaging (such as boot boxes or rug bags), as this can cause damage and may affect your refund. Items MUST be in new condition, clean and dry.

We do not offer a free returns service. The cost of returning a parcel to our UK warehouse must be covered by you.

How to Return your Items

  • Fill out the returns form included in your delivery
  • Find a carrier of your choice to return the parcel. The cost of return shipping is paid by you.
  • Use the original carrier where possible - If you can, return the item using the same courier (e.g. DHL, FedEx, UPS) that delivered it, as they can match it to the original import paperwork.
  • Complete customs forms correctly - On the CN22/CN23 or commercial invoice, clearly state: “UK GOODS RETURNING: DEFECTIVE / UNWANTED”
  • Declare the correct value - Use the original purchase value, and clearly indicate that the item is a return of merchandise
  • Include original tracking details - If possible, add the original import tracking or waybill number to help confirm the item was previously imported.
  • Keep proof of postage - Always retain your receipt and tracking number as proof of return in case of delay or loss.

The LeMieux Vector Balance Inclined Safety Stirrups are a modern evolution of the much-loved original, combining technical innovation with classic equestrian style. Designed for riders seeking the perfect balance of safety, stability, and comfort, these stirrups deliver exceptional performance.

Crafted from aviation-grade aluminum, these stirrups boast an impressive strength-to-weight ratio, making them remarkably light at just 419g each. Despite their lightweight design, they offer robust durability and exceptional stability for any riding discipline.

The ergonomic 5° tilted footplate features a cross-track grip surface with embedded hardened steel pins, ensuring optimal lower leg stability and keeping your heels down. This footplate is supported by a twin-balance arch system, which evenly distributes weight across the stirrup frame, reducing strain and enhancing rider security.

A standout feature of the Vector Stirrups is the integrated hinged arm with a two-stage release system. The spring-loaded arm locks into the base of the main frame meaning that when under maximum pressure, such as landing over a fence, the rider's weight is spread evenly across the stirrup, preventing the outside from dropping and flexing. When pressure is put onto the arm of the stirrup, the arm releases allowing the foot to come out of the stirrup, minimizing the risk of dragging. The stirrup arm breakout force = 36N (equivalent to 3.62kg) in testing, meaning enough resistance to stop it from opening unintentionally, but will release when needed.

The recessed, offset leather loop on these LeMieux Stirrups encourages a 45° outward rotation, making it easier to regain a lost stirrup and maintain the correct foot angle.

Please note, LeMieux advises "It's important to note that no stirrup of this design (with a quick-release arm) is 100% guaranteed to open in the event of a fall. There are several factors, including a fall of the horse, a loose girth causing the saddle to slip, or a slow or unusual angle of exit that may not generate enough lateral force to open the release arm. This is very rare but users must be aware that no stirrup is completely foolproof in every eventuality.''
